Calibration Summary Table Error Messages
When there are problems calculating the calibration curves for compounds, an error message will appear in the Calibration Summary Table header. The messages above Calibration Summary Table are common for all calibration signals, possibly pointing to problems on other signals as well.
If there would be more than two messages displayed at the same time, only first two are shown by default, the rest can be viewed in the tooltip while the cursor hovers above the messages, and more than two messages is signaled by "..." symbol at the end of second message.
The messages may vary slightly by wording for calibrations that have single signal or more signals or by a mode allowing to use the ISTD peak from different signal. Bellow is a list of possible calibration error messages with descriptions and possible reasons.

Detailed description |
Filtering ON - not used compounds are hidden.
|
A warning notifying the user that some compounds may be potentially entered in the Calibration Summary Table but are not visible at the moment due to inactive compounds filtering. The message is accompanied with Show All button switching the filtering off. |
No ISTD peak defined
|
The display mode of the calibration is set to ISTD, but the calibration does not have any ISTD peak defined. |
Compound X is enabled and uses ISTD which is disabled.
|
In the ISTD mode, ISTD peak to be used by one of the compounds is disabled. This message has several variants varying in number of signals on which the respective compound is enabled and possibly also specifying on which signal to look for the disabled ISTD peak. |
Mismatched Amounts of used ISTD Peaks in Calibration, fill all or none.
|
Calibration is not filled consistently - on at least one of the calibration signals there are two or more ISTD peaks used (at least one compound should be calculated according to either) where one ISTD have Amounts filled in, and another one not.
Clarity can calculate the ISTD calibration either with Amounts filled for ISTD peaks in calibration and also in chromatogram, or with Amounts for ISTD peak empty in both calibration and chromatogram.
|
Compound X should use ISTD from signal Y, but calibration has just n signal(s).
|
In ISTD mode, with Allow ISTD from different signal used, calibration itself has enough signals so that all ISTD peaks are properly defined, but chromatogram of the calibration standard opened in the Calibration window has fewer signals and at least one of the cross-signal ISTDs is defined on non-existing chromatogram signal. |
Blank for compound X will not be applied since "Ignore Origin" is not selected.
|
Blank level for given compound is set as used and has filled in response, but the Origin option is set either to Compute with Origin or Curve passes through Origin, blank is ignored with this settings. To use blank Origin must be set to Ignore Origin option.

Detailed Description |
ISTD peak unavailable
|
In the ISTD display mode, when the compound is set to Use ISTD, but the defined ISTD cannot be used to construct calibration curve. Either the peak is not defined at all, or it does not have any valid level (level containing Response and Amount (or just Response in case of no responses entered in any ISTD compounds). |
