Sykam S3210/S3240 Control

The Sykam S3210/S3240 Control module allows for direct control of the Sykam S3210 and Sykam S3240 UV/VIS detectors. While the detector is not switched to the DAD MODE, the control module allows the digital acquisition on one (S3210) or four (S3240) wavelengths. When switched to the DAD MODE, the control module allows the digital acquisition of full spectra in addition to the respective number of wavelengths, according to the type of the detector. The user can easily create the detector control method from the Method Setup - Acquisition and Method Setup - PDA tabs, where wavelength program and acquisition parametres may be set. All of these parameters are then saved as a part of the method and can be added as a part of the report. Control is realized via a standard PC serial port using a specified serial cable. To allow the start synchronization with other instruments, the Digital Input Device (p/n DID01) is needed.

For proper operation of the control module firmware version 3.0.1 or higher is required.
